Tried-and-tested, engaging lesson activities for Chess in Education
Created by educators, for educators
FIDE announced 2026, the Year of Chess in Education, so let’s prepare.
We are inviting chess educators from around the world to help us build a free, open-access resource bank of fun and engaging Chess in Education classroom activities.
Our goal is to collect practical, ready-to-use activity ideas that teachers can instantly apply in their lessons. These are not lesson plans, just short, simple, tried-and-tested activities that work.
If you have an activity your students love and it works well in real classrooms, we want to hear about it!
