Distance Learning

By | June 8, 2024

We are super excited to share the launch of the Academic Course, Chess in Primary Education. It is provided within the context of the Life-Long Learning Department of the University of the Aegean.

Distance learning allows students from diverse geographic locations to enroll in the course making education accessible to a broader audience. It offers flexibility for students to learn at their own pace and schedule, accommodating various time zones.

Our efforts in creating a new Distance Learning program have been a valuable journey. We aim to provide a comprehensive, inspiring and enjoyable learning experience for participants who enroll in the course. We understand that distance learning presents unique challenges and opportunities, and we are committed to addressing these with innovative solutions and ongoing improvements. We are dedicated to continuously refining our methods to ensure the highest quality educational experience.

The course is designed to mature students to extend their accomplishments. Combining both practical and theoretical aspects, the course covers effective teaching strategies and the integration of chess into primary education. Participants will also have the opportunity to work on a special project of their choice, allowing them to explore an area of personal or professional interest in depth.
